Richie is a neo-noir crime drama revolving around a mysterious murder. It is Nivin’s first straight Tamil film and the actor has pinned high hopes on the movie. He plays the titular role of a tough and fearless local rowdy. The actor himself has dubbed in Tamil, for which he had to take lot of efforts to get the diction right.
Richie also has a strong supporting cast which includes veteran actor Prakash Raj, Natty, Shraddha Srinath, Lakshmi Priya Chandramoul and Elango Kumaravel among others. B Ajaneesh Loknath, the music director of Ulidavaru Kandanthe, is composing for Richie as well.
Nivin has a fair share of popularity in Tamil Nadu post Premam and enjoys a strong fan base in Kerala. So, Richie is expected to have a solid opening at the box office tomorrow. The movie is bank rolled by Vinod Shornur and Anand Payyannur.
