Beemapalli Song: Check out the first single from Pathinettam Padi
Actor-writer Shanker Ramakrishnan’s directorial debut ‘Pathinettam Padi’ is gearing up for release next month. Last day, the makers released a video song from the movie. The track is rendered by Shahabaz Aman and lyrics is penned by Vinayak Sasikumar. Talented young composer AH Kaashif, who is the nephew of maestro AR Rahman, is making his Malayalam debut with this film.
AH Kaashif has worked with his uncle Rahman as a music producer and has also contributed to the background score and songs in films like ‘Sarkar’, ‘Mersal’ and ‘Beyond the Clouds’. Kaashif turned an independent composer earlier this year with the Jyothika starrer ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’.
‘Pathinettam Padi’ is said to be a story about the rivalry between a bunch teenagers from two different schools. Megastar Mammootty plays an extended cameo in the movie. His character named John Abraham Palackal is a very prominent and basically takes the story forward. Prithviraj and Unni Mukundan will also be seen in guest appearances. The cast also comprises of Priya Anand, Saniya Iyappan, Ahaana Krishna, Maala Parvathy, Biju Sopanam and many others
