The Family Man Season 2 trailer out; It’s a clash between Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha
The second season of ‘The Family Man’ is finally set to be released on June 4. It was originally scheduled for release on Amazon Prime Video on February 12. However, the makers pushed its release after Amazon’s recent shows, ‘Tandav’ and ‘Mirzapur’, faced severe backlash from right wing groups.
‘The Family Man’, conceived by Raj & DK, is centred around a middle-class man, secretly working for the TASC branch of National Investigation Agency. It is centred around the challenges he faces in his personal and professional life. Manoj Bajpayee plays the lead character Srikanth. Priya Mani essays his wife’s role.
From the trailer of the second season, we can make out that Srikanth is now employed in a new firm and is not associated with the NIA anymore. Meanwhile, the Tamil liberals form a coalition with ISIS and plan major attacks in India. Samantha plays a Tamilian character named Raji, who leads the attack. How Srikanth returns back to the agency and tackles down the threat by Raji’s terrorist group seems to be the rest of the plot.
‘The Family Man’ second season is written by Suman Kumar, Raj & DK. The latter duo has also directed the season along with Suparn S Varma. Sharib Hashmi, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Sunny Hinduja, Sharad Kelkar, Darshan Kumaar, Dalip Tahil, Seema Biswas, Asif Sattar Basra, Shahab Ali, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini Chetan, Mime Gopi, N Alagamperumal, Anandsami, Abhay Verma, and others are part of the cast.
