24 Movie First Day Collection Report – Worldwide

The Suriya starrer movie 24 had released yesterday and got positive talk from all around. This Vikram Kumra written and directorial venture was produced by Suriya himself is a science-fiction thriller and getting great applause from the audience for its superb making and wonderful performance by Suriya. The film fared well in box office as well.

As per the reports coming from various trade guides, the movie had collected above 20 crore from its worldwide box office on Day 1. It is one of the best ever starters at box office in Suriya’s career as well.

Reports from trade guides says that 24 had raked in an amount close to 10 crore from Tamil Nadu alone on its first day. From Telengana and Andhrapradhesh, it had got around 4 crore. The overseas figure is around 4 crores in total as well on Day 1. The film had average/above average theater status in the morning but later the occupancy rate increased and the evening shows had given heavy returns for the film. The slow beginning was due to the failure of his last few films.

The film is expected to do great at box office and the positive response will help to make it big at box office returns. The budget of the film is said to be around 60 crores. Even though there was an expectation that it will break Vijay’s Theri first day worldwide collections, it failed to do so as Theri still at top with 28 crore+ on its first day from worldwide.
