Darvinte Parinamam Collection Report – First Day

Last Fridays big release in Mollywood was the Jijo Antony directorial film named Darvinte Parinamam and what made it really big is the presence of Young Super Star Prithviraj. Prithviraj plays the character named Anil Anto in the film and Chemban Vinod plays the title character of Darvin in this flick. Prithviraj is the one who produced this film as well under his banner named August Cinemas which has Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadeshan and Arya as partners.

The film had opened to mixed reviews all around and it had released in more than 100+ screens all over Kerala. The statuses at almost every theaters were terrific on its first day and the first day gross of the film is around 1.48 crore rupees as per report. The trade guides says that the net of the film is around 1.2 crore and the share may be around 70 lakhs on day one.

As per the report says Darvinte Parinamam had took the second biggest opening here in Kerala this year. First one was Actin Hero Biju starring Nivin Pauly and directed by Abrid Shine. It had made a gross around 1.59 crore on its first day. The report says that the mixed reviews is affecting the collection of the film in its second day and the exam season also taking its toll on Darwinte Parinamam. Jijo Antony’s first film Konthayum Poonoolum was a box office bomb and the success of this film Darwinte Parinamam is very much important to him more than anyone.

Prithviraj is looking to get the 5th success in a row in his career and there by equal the record of Mohanlal, who got such a unique record after 2005 in Mollywood and in fact he is the only star got that in Mollywood in last 10 years. So if this film becomes a success, then Prithviraj can make his name join that club as well along with Mohanlal.

Chemban Vindo and Prithviraj had given superb performances in the film as Darwin and Anil Anto. Let’s wait how the working days behave to the film after the weekend.
