Indian Box Office : Dangal Collection Report 23 Days

Even after 4 weeks since the release, Dangal is continuing its magical run in the box office. The film has till now collected Rs 370.11 crore from the Indian box office. The Aamir Khan-starrer collected 1.94 crore on Friday, Rs 4.06 crore on Saturday and Rs 4.24 crore on Sunday.

Dangal has also collected Rs 190.94 crore from overseas market and is slowly inching towards Rs 200-crore mark in the international box office too.

Recently, the movie swept the Filmfare awards winning awards in all major categories. Dangal was adjourned the the Best Film of 2016, while director Nitesh Tiwari won the Best Director award and Aamir Khan won the Best Actor Male award.

Dangal is now the highest grossing Bollywood movie beating PK’s record. The movie is a sports drama inspired from the real life of Mahavir Singh Phogat, a wrestler from Haryana who trained his two daughters-Geetha Kumari Phogat and Babita Kumari Phogat to world class wrestlers and brought glory to the country.

Aamir Khan played Mahavir Singh Phogat in this movie while Sakshi Tanwar played his wife. The daughters” parts were played by Fathima Sana Sheikh, Zaira Wasim, Suhani Bhatnagar and Sanya Malhotra.

The inspiring story of an ambitious father and his daughters and the terrific performance of the lead actors are the major highlights of the movie.

Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Sidharth Roy Kapoor have jointly produced this movie under the banner Aamir Khan Productions and Disney World Cinemas.
