Kerala Box Office: Ayal Sasi First Day Collection Report

Sreenivasan starrer Ayal Sasi was released on July 7, Friday along with Prithviraj-Indrajith team’s Tiyaan. Ayal Sasi, directed by Sajin Babu is a satirical movie that discusses about the economic, political and religious aspects of the society.

Sreenivasan is playing the protagonist Sasi’s role in the movie. Sasi tries to become popular and lead a life by all means. He is someone who wants to create an identity of his own.

Ayal Sasi opened to decent reviews from the critics. As per reports from our trade sources, the movie has managed to gross Rs 13 lakhs on its opening day in the Kerala box office.

Sreenivasan had lost around 15 kilos to play his character in this movie. The veteran actor followed a low calorie diet for almost four months to lose his weight. Interestingly, the actor has worked in the movie without taking any remuneration.

Kochu Preman, Anil Nedumangadu, Rajesh Sharma and Kammattipadam fame Divya Gopinath are also part of the cast.
