Kerala Box Office : Lakshyam Collection Report 2 Days

Biju Menon-Indrajith team’s Lakshyam was released on May 6 to mixed reviews from the critics. The movie is directed by debutant Anzar Khan and written by Jeethu Joseph. Jeethu has scripted the film based on director Anzar Khan’s tele film Mukhamaukham.

The movie is about two convicts, played by Biju Menon and Indrajith, who escape while being transported from Peermade to Ernakulam. Shivada Nair has played the role of Indrajith’s romantic interest in the movie. Shammi Thilakan and Kishore Sathya are also part of the cast.

Lakshyam had grossed Rs 42 lakhs on the opening day from the Kerala box office. On the second day, Sunday, the movie has managed to gross around Rs 63 lakhs taking the total collection to Rs 1.05 crores. The increase in collections is great considering the fact that the movie was released without much hype amid biggies like Baahubali and CIA.

Lakshyam is produced by Joy Thomas Sakthikulangara, Teji Manalel and distributed by Grand Productions.
