Oozham First Day Collection Report Kerala Box Office
Prithviraj starrer Oozham, scripted and directed by Jeethu Joseph had released last day in Kerala. The film is a revenge thriller and it had got mixed response from the audience here. The film had took a solid opening at box office. As per latest reports coming from the trade pandits in the industry, the first day gross of the movie is around 1.16 crores and it got a first day share around 55 lakhs.
From Ernakulam multiplexes, it had got above 9 lakhs from its first day. The opening is good considering the opposition it had from Super Star Mohanlal starrer Oppam and Vikram starrer Iru Mugan.
This is Jeethu Joseph’s second outing with Prithviraj Sukumaran. Their first movie together was Memories, which was an investigation thriller. This film Oozham has artists like Neeraj Madhav, Divya Pillai, Pashupathy, Balachandra Menon, Seetha, Rasna, Jayaprakash, Anson etc as well along with Prithvi Raj Sukuamaran. Fine Tune Pictures had produced the flick.
Prithviraj played a guy named Surya Krishnamoorthy who works in an American company and a specialist in explosion techniques. The plot revolves around his revenge against those who killed his family members.
Anyway, the team behind the film expecting a strong weekend for this movie even though the opposition is too strong in the form of Oppam which got fabulous response.
