Kerala Box Office : Oppam First Day Collection Report

Oppam is that movie that released last day in Kerala and it came from the pair of Mohanlal and Priyadrshan, who are considered as the most popular and most successful actor-director pair in Kerala. The film is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and distributed by Maxlab.

The flick had got terrific response from all around and positive reviews are just flowing in for the movie from every corner of the state. Family audience also accepted this crime thriller which has all elements to make the audience entertained. In box office too, the film had took a superb opening.

As per the reports we got from trade guides, the flick had grossed above 1.56 crore on its first day from here, which is a fantastic opening considering the genre of the film and also the competition it had to face from Vikram’s big film Iru Mugan, Prithviraj-Jeethu Joseph movie Oozham. From Ernakulam multiplexes alone, it had raked more than 8.44 lakhs from its first day.

Mohanlal’s stupendous performance as the blind character named Jayaraman is the highlight of the movie. He had just given a sterling display of natural and subtle acting through this character and that itself making it a better movie.
