King Liar Collection Report – 15 Days

Siddique- Lal film King Liar had already made the super hit status at box office and after the mega success of Two Countries, Dileep had scored yet another Super hit with this flick. Siddique-Lal team written the screenplay together after 22 years and Lal had directed this comedy family entertainer with Dileep and Madonna Sebastian in the lead. The film which released on April 2 had almost completed 3 weeks in box office. As per the reports we are getting, the film had grossed close to 13 crore from 15 days of its run from Kerala alone.

The film had made a great start at box office and the first week gross was fabulous. The great family support for Dileep films had made it easy for the film even after getting mixed reports from all over. But reviews are mostly positive and that had helped it too. But after the release of Nivin Pauly film Jacobinte Swargarajyam, which got great response, King Liar collection went down a little bit.

Later the Theri release also affected a bit. But when look at the overall picture, the film had done a great job here by earning close to 13 crore. Even though it had lost some screens, it hope to continue toll April last unaffected.

Anyway, Dileep is making is good times count as he had delivered two back to back super success now. Credit goes to the popularity of Siddique-lal combination as well.
