Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol touches 20 crore mark from Kerala box office alone

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, Mohanlal’s latest outing continues to do great business in the box office. The movie released on January 20, opened to great reviews from the critics and auidence.

The movie has now crossed the 20 crore mark from the Kerala box office alone. This is Mohanlal’s third successive movie to gross more than 20 crores in the Kerala box office. His previous two releases, Oppam and Pulimurugan turning into massive blockbusters with the latter becoming the first ever Malayalam movie to enter the 100 crore club.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is written by M Sindhuraj and directed by Vellimoonga fame Jibu Jacob. The movie is loosely inspired from James VJ’s popular short story Pranayopanishath. Meena has once played Mohanlal’s pair after the blockbuster Drishyam. The movie is a perfect watch for the families as it discusses a very relevant theme that could be easily relatable to many mid aged couples. Mohanlal and Meena’s beautiful on-screen chemistry and the situational humour laced narrative is the major plus points of the movie.
