Pulimurugan collection report

Mollywood’s only hundred crore grosser Pulimurugan is still running in some theatres even after crossing the 100 day mark. The movie directed by Vysakh has also done a business of over 150 crores.

A detailed breakdown on the collections of Pulimurugan is given below :

From Kerala box office alone, Pulimurugan has grossed a whopping Rs 85.7 crores. From the UAE and GCC centres, the movie has raked in a record Rs 33.50 crores. The rest of India collections stand at Rs 9.5 crores. The combined collections in UK and US amount upto Rs 3.70 crores. From other centres (Rest of World) like Australia, Newzealand, the movie has grossed Rs 1.50 crores.

On a whole, the Malayalam version of Pulimurugan alone has grossed Rs 134.20 crores. This action packed mass entertainer was dubbed in Telugu as Manyam Puli.

Manyam Puli opened to tremendous response from the Telugu audience. Recently the movie crossed its 50 days theatrical run. Worldwide collections of the Telugu version alone amount to Rs 13.5 crores.

So, in total the worldwide gross of Pulimurugan is 148 crores. Satellite, audio and overseas distribution rights are amounted to another 15 crores. That makes the total business of the movie to a whopping 163 crores. It should be noted that collections form B class theatres have not been included in the list.

Pulimurugan, written by Udhayakrishna had Mohanlal in the title role of a wild hunter known for hunting down man eating tigers. Kamalini Mukherjee played the female lead in this movie which also had Lal, Jagapathi Babu, Bala, Makarand Deshpande, Vinu Mohan and many others in pivotal characters. The movie was bankrolled by Tomichan Mulakupadam under his banner Mulakupadam Films.
