Pulimurugan becomes the highest grossing Malayalam movie in UK

The historical success in Mollywood named Pulimurugan, starred by the complete actor Mohanlal is continuing with its epic run and all existing box office records in Mollywood has been shattered within 30 days by this unstoppable war horse.

The film is making waves in overseas market too. It had become the highest grossing South Indian movie in New Zealand and it will soon become the highest grossing South Indian movie from UAE/GCC market as well surpassing Kabali.

The film will soon surpass the life time figure of Premam to become the highest grossing Malayalam movie in USA.

Now, a report is coming in that Puli Murugan had become the highest grossing Malayalam movie in UK as well by grossing over 1 crore+ from just5 days from UK box office. It had surpassed the gross of Dileep starrer movie Two Countries, which released in this year January there.

Trade Pandits is of the opinion that, seeing the great response and rush at UK for this movie, it may become the first ever Malayalam movie to gross 200K pound from UK.

Pulimurugan had grossed over 75 lakhs from there in its first 3 days itself and thus it had surpassed the lifetime figures of movies like Premam, Oppam and Jacobinte Swargarajyam from there. From 4 days, Pulimurugan had grossed 118K pounds from UK and Ireland.
