The much awaited Aashiq Abu film named Rani Padmini had released on Friday (23-10-2015) and the film was opened to positive reviews. It is a woman-centric film and the lead cast in the film is Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal. The flick tells us the story of two women who undertake a journey because of different serious problems in their life. They meet each other during that journey and later their destination becomes the same and the flick later shows us how these two women influence and understand each other and bonds with each other to solve the problems of each other’s life at the end of their journey. It is a travel film that will make you entertain you with some thrilling moments as well as beautiful visuals. As expected a woman-centric film received not such a great welcome in box office on its first day as it had grossed only 37 lakh rupees on its very first day.

It got that 37 lakhs as well because of the presence of Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal. Also, the name of Aashiq Abu attracted the audience as well. Now the team hoping that with positive reviews coming from all directions the film will get an increased collection in box office from next day as well. Even though the opening is a below average one it can come up from there in the coming days if the positive mouth publicity materializes into box office gross.

This 37 lakhs looks promising as well when we look into the fact that so other films starring the super stars of our industry as well grossed worse than this or got the worst first-day collection even after all the so called stardom and hype.
