Sultan First Day Collection Report

Salman Khan movie Sultan written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar had released all over the world on July 6th this year, on Eid day. Anushka Sharma playing the female lead in this movie in which both she and Salman Khan are playing wrestlers. The flick had released in 5100 screens all over the world and in those 5100 screens, 1100 screens are from outside India.

As per the latest report coming in from trade guides, the flick had recorded the biggest opening of movie in India this year and it also recorded the second best ever opening by a movie here in Indian Cinema history. The film had got more than 36.5 crores from its day 1 in India.

This year, the previous best openings were Sharukh Khan’s Fan which got 19 crore+ and Akshay Kumar’s Houseful 3 (15crore+) and Airlift (12 crore+). But Salman Khan thrashed all that by a big margin and proved that when it comes to box office, he is the real Sultan in Bollywood. The flick also set the record of second best ever opening got by an Indian Movie here. The record is with Salman Khan himself, as his last year movie named Prem Ratan Dhan Payo had got more than 40 crore rupees on its first day from India.

Sultan is getting great reviews from all over and it’s a classy mass film which is attracting all sections of the audience all over the world.
