Theri continues to make waves at Tamil Nadu box office after making an earth shattering opening there on Day 1 by grossing over 13.1 crore. The film got positive reviews from most people and that had helped it to maintain the great run at box office on its second day too.

As per reports coming from various trade guides in Kollywood, the film had earned above 12 crore from its second day in Tamil Nadu and that is quite awesome. From two days, the film had earned a gross 25.1 crore from Tamil Nadu alone and it shows how well the people of Tamil Nadu had accepted the film.

The film is doing great business in other south Indian states like Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh as well. It is also doing very well in overseas market. From Kerala alone it had raked in 2.40 cr+ on its first ay and it had secured the 3rd spot in the list of highest first day grossers in Kerala.

The team behind the film hopes that this amazing run will continue and the film will soon cross the 100 crore mark from worldwide market. The film is made on a budget around 100 crores as per reports and it have to cross 100 crores in box office at least to become a safe one financially.
