The film has now secured the 5th biggest opening in Mollywood history, surpassing Turbo’s 16.2 crore start. With this sensational opening, Mohanlal once again proves why he is regarded as the most popular cultural icon of Kerala. The Kerala gross stands at a solid ₹5 crore+, while the rest of India contributed ₹1 crore. Impressively, the overseas collections went past ₹10 crore, showcasing Lalettan’s massive global fanbase.
“Thudarum”, a crime drama produced by M. Renjith under Rejaputhra Visual Media, follows the emotional and thrilling story of Shanmugham, a taxi driver, and his family whose lives are disrupted by a shocking incident involving his beloved old car.
