Two Countries Collection Report

Dileep starrer Two Countries directed by Shafi and written by Rafi is still continuing with its dream run in box office. We had already reported the news that it had become the fastest 10 crore earning film in Mollywood. And now, as per the latest official collection report, the film had entered the 20 crore club of Mollywood and that too within 16 days of its theatrical run. Now it is one of the fastest 20 crore earning films as well and others are Premam and Amar Akbar Anthony which released last year.

If things go like this way it will find a place in the list of one of the top 5 all-Time blockbusters in Mollywood lead by Drishyam and followed by Premam, Ennu Ninte Moideen, Bangalore days, Amar Akbar Anthony and Twenty20 now. The 20 crore earned by this film is from Kerala only and the rest of Indian collection is not available now. But the film is getting wonderful response from all over and not a single negative review had come about this film till now. Two Countries was unanimously chosen by the viewers as the Christmas Winner of last year.

Dileep who was going through a bad patch had made a comeback that really rocked the Kerala Box office and everybody is of the opinion that the popular actor they loved is back in all sense. Many people said that they got back the Dileep they loved like a brother. The character in the film was tailor made for Dileep. It was not just Dileep’s comeback only but also the comeback of director Shafi who had going through the worst phase of career with back to back disasters like Venicile Vyapari and 101 Weddings.

His last super success was also with Dileep and it was Marikkundoru Kunjadu. He had another super hit with Dileep as well named Kalyana Raman which was his first association with Dileep. Now Two Countries is the Hatrick success of this fabulous combo.

Two Countries is financed by M Renjith under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media which is now all set to produce a Mohanlal film next which will be directed by G Prajith as per some reports.
