Simbu looks dashing in these new photoshoot stills!

The physical transformation of Simbu aka STR has stunned one and all. The actor has shed oodles of weight and looks fit and young these days. Some new photoshoot stills of his has just been shared online. Sporting long hair and beard, Simbu looks extremely stylish in these photos. It is said that this photoshoot was done just before he started shooting for ‘Eeswaran’, which marks his comeback after a brief gap.

During the lockdown days, Simbu had attended a weight loss programme in Kerala. He also learnt Kalarippayattu and trained in Bharathanatyam during this time. When the first look poster of ‘Eeswaran’ was out, Simbu’s transformation left everyone amazed. It was as if he managed to turn the clock back to his ‘Kovil’ days.

Simbu is currently shooting for ‘Maanadu’ directed by Venkat Prabhu. It is a political thriller that has Simbu playing a Muslim character named Abdul Khaaliq in the film. Kalyani Priyadrashan plays the female lead. SJ Suryah, Bharathiraja, and Manoj Bharathi will also be seen in important roles.
