10 more days of shoot left for Mammootty in Bheeshma Parvam

Mammootty was shooting for the Amal Neerad directorial ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ when some of the crew members turned Covid positive. Soon after that, the second wave of pandemic worsened and triggered a rapid surge in cases across the country. Shoot has currently been put on hold due to the lockdown. It is learnt that Mammootty still has around 10 days of shoot left in the film.

‘Bheeshma Parvam’ marks Mammootty’s reunion with Amal Neerad 14 long years after ‘Big B’. Newcomer Devadath Shaji has scripted the film along with Amal Neerad. It is said to be a gangster drama in which Mammootty plays a larger-than-life character. The cast also includes Soubin Shahir, Shine Tom Chacko, Sreenath Bhasi, Nadiya Moidu, ‘Rangasthalam’ fame Anasuya, Maala Parvathy and Lena.

Anend C Chandran of ‘Neram’ and ‘Premam’ fame is the cinematographer and music is by Sushin Shyam. Amal Neerad is producing the film under his banner, Amal Neerad Productions.
