19 (1)(a): Vijay Sethupathi starts shooting for his next in Malayalam!

Vijay Sethupathi’s new Malayalam film ’19 (1)(a)’ was launched recently with a customary pooja and switch on ceremony. The star has joined the sets and the makers have shared photos of the same in social medias. Clad in a mundu and blue shirt, Sethupathi does look like an average Keralite. It is not yet known if he plays a Malayali character in the film. In his debut Malayalam film ‘Marconi Mathai’, he appeared as himself in an extended cameo role.

’19 (1)(a)’ is written and directed by debutant Indu VS. The film has Nithya Menen as the female lead. Indrajith Sukumaran and veteran Indrans will be seen in other pivotal roles. As per the makers, the film has a pan-Indian subject that demands strong performers like Vijay Sethupathi, Nithya Menen and Indrajith. On the technical side, Govind Vasantha is the music director and State award winner Manesh Madhavan is handling the cinematography. The film is backed by Anto Joseph Film Company.
