1971 Beyond Borders first look poster released

The first look poster of Mohanlal’s upcoming movie 1971 : Beyond Borders was released today on the occasion of Republic day.

The movie directed by Major Ravi is based on the 1971 war between India and Pakistan. Mohanlal is playing a double role in the movie- Major Mahadevan and Major Sahadevan. This is the fourth time Mohanlal is playing the character of Mahadevan in a Major Ravi movie after Keerthichakra, Kurukshetra and Kandahar

Apart from Mohanlal, the movie also stars Telugu actor Allu Sirish and Bollywood actor Arunoday Singh in pivotal roles.

Model turned actress Priyanka Chaudhary, Asha Sarath, Renji Panicker, Sudheer Karamana and Saiju Kurup essay other important characters in the movie.

First schedule of the movie was completed in December last year in the deserts of Rajasthan. Recently the second schedule was completed in Palakkad area.

Cinematography for this big budget movie is handled by Sujith Vasudev while Rahul Subramaniam is composing the music. The movie is produced by Haneef Mohammed under the banner Red Rose Creations.
