9 MM: Dhyan Sreenivasan scripts Manju Warrier’s next

The multi-faceted Dhyan Sreenivasan is scripting Manju Warrier’s 50th film. Titled as ‘9 MM’, it will be directed by debutant Dhinil Babu. Along with Manju, the cast also includes Dhyan, Sunny Wayne and Dileesh Pothan. Fantastic Films, owned by Aju Varghese and Vishak Subramaniam, is producing the film. It must be remembered that the banner’s last film, ‘Love Action Drama’, marked the directorial debut of Dhyan.

Announcing ‘9 MM’, Aju Varghese wrote on his social media handle,

Sit tight and buckle up as we present to you the first look poster of our next production venture starring our own Dhyan Sreenivasan along with the ever-cool Sunny Wayne ,the multi-talented Dileesh Pothan. What makes it more special is the presence of a person we all admired as boys right from her first film. She surprised us even more with her comeback and now we are elated to work with her on her 50th film. Presenting to you the very charming, charismatic, an actor par excellence, the pride of malayalees – Our own Lady Superstar Manju Warrier on 9mm. #MW50

Manju Warrier also sounded excited as she posted a note, which reads,

Very happy and proud to let you know about this exciting project I’m going to be part of. Can’t wait to join this super FUNTASTIC team of dear friends!

The core technical team ‘9 MM’ is mostly from outside Malayalam industry. Vetri Palanisamy, who has cranked the camera for Ajith’s films like Viswasam’, ‘Vedhalam’ and ‘Vivegam’, is making his Malayalam debut with this film. Sam CS of ‘Vikram Vedha’ fame is the music director. Yannik Ben, who has worked in various Bollywood and Hollywood films, has been roped in as the action director.
