A Native Sci-Fi Comedy: Kunchacko Boban & Manju Warrier Reunite for ‘Nere Chovva’, Official Title Look Out

The official title look of ‘Nere Chovva’ has been unveiled, marking the much-awaited reunion of Kunchacko Boban and Manju Warrier after a decade. The film promises to be a rooted, native-flavoured sci-fi comedy, a genre rarely explored in Malayalam cinema.

The striking title poster features Kunchacko Boban in a traditional lungi-clad look, standing with his back turned, while the planet Mars forms the backdrop — cleverly hinting at the film’s quirky blend of rural aesthetics and space adventure. Alongside the poster, a promo video showcasing the actor gearing up for a journey to Mars in an amusing costume has also been released, adding to the curiosity and fun surrounding the project.

‘Nere Chovva’ is produced by Vineesh Varghese under the banner of V & V Global Productions. The film is directed by Ranjith Varma, who previously worked as the associate director of the superhit film Falimy.

Kunchacko Boban and Manju Warrier were a much-loved on-screen pair in “How Old Are You”, and their reunion has already generated significant excitement among fans.

Filmmaker Nithish Sahadev, known for directing hits like “Falimy” and “Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimayil”, joins the project as Creative Producer. Martin George Aattavelil serves as the Executive Producer.
