‘Aadu’ fame Midhun Manuel Thomas congratulates team ‘Padayottam’

Biju Menon starrer Padayottam hit screens last day and has opened to good response from the audience. While critics have rated the movie as a harmless fun entertainer, commoners also seem to like the movie as the word of mouth in social medias have largely been positive. The movie is directed by debutant Rafeek Ibrahim and produced by Sophia Paul of Weekend Blockbusters.

Director Midhun Manuel Thomas of ‘Aadu’ fame has posted a note in his Facebook post after watching the movie. According to him, Padayottam is a pretty decent entertainer with a lot of fresh elements in it. He also congratulated the team for the success.

Newcomers Arun AR and Ajai Rahul have scripted the movie as a gangster-comedy. Biju Menon, in a rugged new avatar, plays the role of Chenkal Raju, a pucca-gangster based in Trivandrum. Dileesh Pothan, Saiju Kurup, Anu Sithara, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Basil Joseph, Sudhi Koppa and Hareesh Kanaran play the other major roles.

After the good start at the Kerala box office, Padayottam is expected to continue its run by pulling more audience to theatres.
