Aarattu: Mohanlal looks majestic in this new poster

A new poster of Mohanlal’s upcoming film ‘Aarattu’ has just been released online. The superstar looks majestic in the poster as he sits royally on a chair. The film directed by B Unnikrishnan has Mohanlal plays a larger-than-life character named Neyyattinkara Gopan. Udhayakrishna has scripted the film as a mass-masala entertainer set in a rural backdrop.

As per the makers, ‘Aarattu’ is a proper entertainer film with action, comedy and all essential commercial ingredients in it. The makers have already assured that film will be devoid of misogynistic and caste-based discriminatory dialogues.

Popular South Indian actress Shraddha Srinath plays the female lead in the film. She will be seen playing the role of an IAS officer’s role. The elaborate supporting cast also includes Siddique, Sai Kumar, Nedumudi Venu, Indrans Vijayaraghavan, Swasika, Rachana Narayanankutty and Sheela.

Vijay Ulaganath is the cinematographer and edits are being handled by Shameer Muhammed. Rahul Raj is the music director. Shoot for the film is still progressing and it has been confirmed as a theatrical release.
