Abraham Santhathikal director Shaji Padoor’s next titled as Nirbhaya

After the blockbuster success of ‘Abrahaminte Santhathikal’, director Shaji Padoor is all set to helm his next. His new film has been titled as ‘Nirbhaya’ and it will have Namitha Pramod in the lead role. Shoot for the film is scheduled to commence from September. Earlier in the day, the actress took to her official social handle to announce the film. She has written,

Though ‘Abrahaminte Santhathikal’ was his directorial debut, Shaji Padoor has been in the industry for over two decades, is making his directorial debut with this movie. Having worked with several top filmmakers, he is one of the most sought after associate directors in Malayalam film industry.

Going by the title ‘Nirbhaya’, which means fearless, Shaji’s new film looks like a heroine-centric one. It must be noted that ‘Nirbhaya’ was the name given to the 2012 Delhi rape victim.
