Actor Karthi blessed with a baby boy

Tamil actor Karthi and his wife Ranjani have been blessed with a baby boy. The star took to his social media handle to inform the big news. He also thanked the doctors and nurses for taking them through what he calls a life changing experience. He has written,

Dear friends and family, we are blessed with a boy baby. We can’t thank enough our doctors and nurses who took us through this life changing experience. need all your blessings for the little one. Thank you god!

Karthi’s brother, actor Suriya tweeted,

Karthi and Ranjani also have a daughter named Umayal. Meanwhile, the actor is having multiple projects lined up on the professional front. Shoot for his new film ‘Sultan’ got wrapped up only recently. The film is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan of ‘Remo’ fame. Rashmika Mandanna, one of South Indian cinema’s hot favourites, is making her Tamil debut with this film.

Karthi is expected to start shooting for PS Mithran’s film next. The actor is said to be playing a double role in it. He also has the Mani Ratnam biggie ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ in the pipeline. A sequel to his blockbuster action film ‘Kaithi’ is also in the offing.
