Actor VP Khalid passes away

Actor VP Khalid passed away due to heart attack. He was shooting for director Jude Anthany Joseph’s upcoming film in Vaikom when he was found unconscious in the toilet. He breather his last before the crew members rushed him to the hospital.

Khalid, who was active in the theatre circle as an actor, director and playwright, was popular for his role in Mazhavil Manorama’s satire show, ‘Marimayam’. Cinematographers Shyju Khalid (Joji, Kumbalangi Nights, Sudani From Nigeria, Maheshinte Prathikaram), Jimshi Khalid (Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, Allu Ramendran) and filmmaker Khalid Rahman (Unda, Love) are his sons.
