Actress Amala Rose Kurien lashes out against the fake news

Earlier there were some media reports about a Malayalam serial actress named Amala allegedly arrested in connection with an immoral traffic case from Thodupuzha.

Soon many rumors started surfacing the social media pages and people were eager to know who the arrested serial actress was.

Many reports had claimed it to be actress Amala Rose Kurian, who has acted in some television serials. The actress was well known for roles in Malayalam serials like Paadasarm and Sthreedhanam.

Now, the actress herself has come forward requesting people not to misunderstand her with the arrested woman just because they both have the same name.

“Has Amala Rose Kurian committed suicide? Dear friends, is this what everyone is waiting to hear? I am a simple girl from a middle class family. I have a passion for acting and that is the reason why I am still in the industry. It has been a week since I have had a proper sleep. I am even scared to attend phone calls of my friends and family members”, Amala Rose Kurian writes on her official Facebook page.

“Recently, a girl named Amala was arrested for an immoral traffic case from Thodupuzha. Soon many people misunderstood me to be that person. Now, I cannot even open my Messenger or Whatsapp as many have started harassing me by sending abusive messages. Only a very few of my friends are there to support me in this hard period.”

“Even the people who committed the mistake deserve justice that the law is supposed to give. But still I am being harassed for a mistake I have not committed. I just want to ask one question to all those people who are abusing me without realizing the truth behind the incident: Would you do the same if it had happened to your sister? Or would you try to find out the reality behind it? I request all the social media friends not to torment me based on some fake news. I also wish to live here peacefully. Please try to find out what the truth is”, the actress writes in her Facebook post.

Amala Rose Kurian made her debut in films with Dulquer Salmaan’s Theevram in which she played the role of Mynaa.
