After Anarkali, Prithviraj-Sachi team to unite again

After Anarkali, which was his maiden directorial venture which released last year, writer Sachi is planning his next directorial venture with Prithviraj. Prithviraj and Biju Menon had played the lead roles in Anarkali, which become a hit in box office. Now, he is planning his second movie as a director and it will be a period movie which will be shot in a big canvas, says the director.

The project is still in its discussion stage as the writer/director is in talks with Gokulam Gopalan regarding the production of this flick under Gokulam Movies. The film will depict the period post 1950’s and will need a lot of time to complete it.

The film will be shot in Sri Lanka and UK and the female leads in this movie will be a Sinhalese actress and an actress from English. The screenplay of this movie will be written by Suresh Babu who had earlier wrote the Mega Hit Mohanlal film Shikkar, says Sachi to the Media. Sachi himself had wrote the screenplay of his first film Anrakkli.

Apart from this project there are reports that Mohanlal had given his dates for Sachi. Sachi will be writing two screenplays more. One for Dileep-Arun Gopi project in which Dileep plays a young MLA and another one for Prithvi Raj- Sreenivasan project which will be directed by Lal.
