Aayiram Kani, Gabriyelum Malakhamarum venu director new movie
Venu is one of the popular cinematographer turned directors in Mollywood and he had directed two critically acclaimed films till now in his career. His first movie was Daya which released long years back. Manju Warrier, Krishna, Lal etc played major characters in that movie which was a never seen before kind of movie in Malayalam Cinema.
Then he came up with a movie named Munnariyippu, which had Mega Star Mammootty in the lead. It was released in 2014 and produced by directed Ranjith under his newly formed production banner named Gold Coin Motion Pictures. Popular screen writer Unni R had written the screenplay of that movie. Munnariyipppu was a critically acclaimed movie.
Now, this film maker is all set to make things right with two upcoming movies of his. One will be with Fahad Fazil and another will be with Prithviraj-Manju Warrier team. Fahad Fazil movie will start first as per reports and it is titled as Aayiram Kani. The film will be bankrolled by Sibi Thottupuram and Manu Kunjachan under the banner named Poetry Film House. Venu will write the screenplay of this movie as well. It may start rolling from next year January after Fahad Fazil completes his previously committed projects.
Prithviraj-Manju Warrier project was titled as Gabriyelum Malakhamarum and it will start after the Fahd Fazil project. Venu is now busy with the Bollywood Movie produced by Anurag Kashyap. Venu is the DOP of that Imran Khan starrer movie named Rorav.
