After Velipadinte Pusthakam, Anna Reshma Rajan will be next seen in Dhyan Sreenivasan’s Sachin

Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Angamaly Diaries introduced quite a few talented artists to the film industry. One among them or perhaps the most popular among them is Anna Reshma Rajan, who played the character Lichi in Angamaly Diaries. Post the movie’s release, the actress became an instant favourite among the audience, especially the Malayali youths.

The wide acclaim and success of her debut film opened gates for a lot of opportunities for Anna. She was roped in to play the female lead in Mohanlal starrer Velipadinte Pusthakam, directed by Lal Jose. Anna is playing an assistant professor’s role in the movie. Shoot for Velipadinte Pusthakam was recently wrapped up and Anna has signed for her next movie.

She will be next seen paired opposite Dhyan Sreenivasan in an upcoming movie directed by Santhosh Nair of Money Ratnam fame. The movie, titled as Sachin is written by SL Puram Jayasurya, who has previously directed movies like Angel John and Speed Track.

According to reports, Sachin is a romantic-comedy entertainer that has cricket as the backdrop. Aju Varghese, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Renji Panicker and Maniyanpilla Raju are also part of the cast. Neil D’Cunha will be cranking the camera and Shaan Rahman has been roped in to handle the music department.
