At his age I had already done Rajavinte Makan, Pranav Mohanlal is just starting now, says Mohanlal

Pranav Mohanlal’s entry to the film industry was long awaited by the Malayali audience. The wait came to an end when Jeethu Joseph announced his next project with Pranav to be produced by Mohanlal’s home production banner Aashiravad Cinemas.

Recently we had reported that Pranav Mohanlal is learning Parkour for the movie. Jeethu Joseph had said that Pranav’s debut movie will be a action thriller. So the star kid is striving hard to play the part perfectly.

It was Mohanlal who revealed this information in a recent interview. When asked whether there is pressure on Pranav Mohanlal because he’s a superstar’s son, Mohanlal said, “there might be, but I don’t pressurise him more by asking him about it.

He cannot act well just beacuse he is Mohanlal’s son. He should be able to prove it himself. When I was his age, I had already done Rajavinte Makan. He is just starting now”.

Pranav Mohanlal has earlier acted as a child artist in the movie Punarjani. He also won the Kerala State Award for Best Child Artist for his performance in the movie.

He has worked as a an assistant director with Jeethu Joseph in movies like Life of Josutty and Papanasam before deciding to make his debut as a lead hero.
