Ajith injured while shooting for Valimai; To take a month-long break!

Thala Ajith has been injured while shooting for his new film ‘Valimai’ in Hyderabad. It is reported that the star is returning back to Chennai and has decided to take an one month-long break. This is not the first time Ajith has suffered an injury on sets. Earlier this year in February, while shooting for bike chase sequence, and the actor suffered minor bruises.

‘Valimai’ is written and directed by H Vinoth of ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ fame. This is his second successive film with Ajith after the success of ‘Nerkonda Paaravai’. ‘Valimai’ is said to be a cop-action thriller made on a lavish budget. It is said to be Ajith’s first pan-Indian film with a Hindi release as well.

Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi has been roped in as the female lead. Telugu actor Karthikeya Gummakonda will be seen as the antagonist in the film. ‘Valimai’ has Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music director and Nirav Shah as the cinematographer.
