Ajith starrer Vivegam’s Kerala rights bagged by Pulimurugan makers

Thala Ajith’s much awaited spy-thriller Vivegam is slated to hit screens in August, this year. The movie marks the third time teaming up of Ajith with director Siruthai Siva after Veeram and Vedhalam. According to our sources, the distribution rights for Vivegam in Kerala has been bought by Mulakupadam Films, the producers of Malayalam cinema’s biggest ever blockbuster Pulimurugan. The rights are reportedly bagged for a huge amount, perhaps the biggest ever for an Ajith starrer.

Ajith has extended his popularity to Kerala considerably over the past few years. Vivegam is his first release in two years and the highly impressive teaser has increased the expectations multifold. Ajith is playing the role of an agent in Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). The actor has undergone a terrific make-over for the movie by shedding down a lot of extra pounds.

The first look poster of Vivegam took everyone by surprise as Ajith was seen flaunting his six packs with his famous salt and pepper hair style. Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead while Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi and Kamal Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara Haasan will be seen in prominent roles.

Major portions of the movie were shot in European countries. Young sensation Anriudh Ravichander is composing the music while Vetri has handled the cinematography. This big budget movie is produced by Satya Jyothi Films.
