Amala Malayalam movie; Sarath Kumar turns a hero

Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Angamaly Diaries has introduced an handful of actors to the Malayalam film industry. The movie featured 86 newcomers and their performances were widely appreciated. One of the most impressive actors in the movie was Sarath Kumar who played the prime antagonist’s role of Appani Ravi.

Sarath Kumar does not have the conventional looks of an actor. But with his stellar portrayal of Appani Ravi, he proved that physical looks does not matter as far as one possess real talent.

Sarath has been bagging many offers post the success of Angamaly Diaries. He has recently signed for an upcoming movie titled as Amala. Aanandam fame Anarakali Marikar is playing the female lead. The movie is all set to go on floors today in Athirappally.

Sarath Kumar, who recently got married, will be next seen in a prominent role in Sunny Wayne’s upcoming movie Pokkiri Simon, Oru Kaduththa Aaraadhakan. He has also been roped in for Mohanlal’s upcoming movie with director Lal Jose.
