Amitabh Bachchan injured during Thugs of Hindostan shoot; Undeterred by the injury he continues shooting

Amitabh Bachchan is one of the busiest actors in Indian cinema. The 75 year old superstar was recently injured while shooting for his upcoming movie Thugs Of Hindostan. The veteran injured his rib but still continued shooting as he did not want the whole unit to be disturbed.

On his return to Mumbai, the doctors had advised him to hava an MRI done. It was only after the scan reports came, they could find out the source of this terrible pain was found. Amitabh Bachchan, known for his utmost dedication to his craft, continued shooting despite suffering from a cracked rib.

Thugs Of Hindostan is one of the most awaited Indian films in recent times. It is an highly anticipated movie as two of Indian cinema’s biggest superstars, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan are teaming up for the first time. The movie is being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films.

Thugs Of Hindostan is an adaptation of the 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug. The movie is set in the 18th century and will have pirates in the narrative. Katrina Kaif and Dangal fame Fathima Sana Sheikh are also part of this big budget movie. It is scheduled to hit screens worldwide for Diwali next year.
