And The Oskar Goes To set for GCC release from July 4

Tovino’s ‘And The Oskar Goes To’ (ATOGT) has entered its second week of theatrical run in the Kerala box office. The movie is now set for release in GCC centres from July 4. It is expected to take a good opening there courtesy the positive word of mouth back home.

Hitting screens in Kerala on June 21, ATOGT opened to good response from all corners. Critic reviews have all been largely positive with special mention for Tovino’s performance. The Salim Ahamed directorial tells the story of a film taking its maker to the Oscars. It is one of those films that is instantly relatable to the all those who have a passion for the art of filmmaking.

Salim Ahamed scripted the movie partly based on his own experiences and some other real life filmmakers. Unlike his earlier films, ‘ATOGT’ has a more commercial touch to it, major credits of which should go to its charming lead actor, Tovino Thomas. His performance in the movie has widely been rated as one of his career best.
