Andrea Jeremiah to star in Mysskin’s Pisasu 2

Recently on his birthday, director Mysskin had announced that he would be making a sequel for his hit horror film ‘Pisasu’. The film however won’t be a continuation of the same story. Andrea Jeremiah will be playing the lead role in ‘Pisasu 2’. Ilaiyaraja’s son Karthik Raja will be composing music for this film.

‘Pisasu’ that got released in 2014 was a brilliantly made horror film that stayed clear of all the stereotypes that are usually associated with the genre. Naga and Malayali actress Prayaga Martin had played the lead roles in it. The film was a box office success it was also remade in multiple languages.

Expectations will naturally be high on ‘Pisasu 2’. Along with Andrea, the film also has Rajkumar Pitchumani as the other lead. He had previously played the villain role in Mysskin’s film ‘Psycho’. Andrea has also worked with the director in ‘Thupparivalan’.

The makers are planning to start ‘Pisasu 2’ in November. Mysskin has also committed for projects with Arun Vijay and Simbu.
