Angamaly Diaries fame Antony Varghese clarifies about his Bollywood entry!

Antony Varghese is on a high ever since the release of his debut film Angamaly Diaries, which was a smashing success both critically and commercially. After a lot of discussions, the actor recently signed for his second project. Titled as Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil, the movie is to be directed by debutant Tinu Pappachan, who was Lijo Jose Pellissery’s chief associate director in Angamaly Diaries. The movie is all set to start rolling in October.

Recently, several online medias had reported about Antony’s dream debut in Bollywood. It was reported that Karan Johar will be introducing Antony in Bollywood and the news soon went viral in social medias. A photo that Antony took with Karan in a party inadvertently made people to believe that he is indeed stepping into the glamour world of B-Town.

However, Antony Varghese has now cleared the air about all the talks related to his Hindi debut. Antony is presently in Madhya Pradesh for some personal reasons. Recently, he was invited to a birthday party of an editor of a leading film magazine in Mumbai. Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor and many other celebrities attended the event. Antony managed to have a photo clicked with Karan which later triggered all the false news. Antony confirmed that no such projects are happening right now but will only be happy if anything exciting comes by. All Karan Johar said to him was that he has been hearing good reviews about Angamaly Diaries.

Antony’s upcoming film Swathanthryam Ardha Rathriyil is being produced by B Unnikrishnan. The movie, scripted by Dileep Kurian is said to be an action thriller where Antony plays a Kottayam based youngster. Vinayakan and Chemban Vinod are also part of the cast. Kottayam, Mangalore and Australia have been finalized as the major shooting locations.
