Angamaly Diaries trailer trending in social media; New stars on the rise for Mollywood

The trailer for maverick filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery’s upcoming movie Angamaly Diaries was released in YouTube yesterday evening. It has been trending ever since then in social media pages.

The movie starring newcomers is written by popular actor Chemban Vinod Jose. From the trailer we can make out that it is a story about a group of thugs in Angamaly. Itnis learnt that the movie is inspired from some real life incidents that has happened in Angamaly.

Newcomer Antony Varghese has played the lead role in this movie. The actor is seen sporting different looks and we believe that it shows a coming of age story. He is someone to look out for in the future.

The trailer is getting appreciation from all the corners for the raw visuals and the sharp cuts. Girish Gangadharan has handled the cinematography while Shameer Muhammed is the editor. Prashanth Pillai who has worked in all the previous movies of Lijo Jose Pellissery, has composed the music in Angamaly Diaries.

Lijo Jose Pellissery is a highly admired filmmaker noted for his movies like Nayakan, City of God and Ame. The director is known for his unconventional style of filmmaking style that is devoid of the regular commercial formulas. So expectations were naturally on the higher side for this movie right from it’s announcement. It has now gone up a level after the interesting trailer.
