Ann Augustine makes a comeback through Dulquer Salmaan movie Solo

We had earlier reported that Young Megastar Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming movie Solo directed by Bejoy Nambiar went on floors this week. Model turned actress Arthi Venkatesh is playing the female lead in this movie.

The director had earlier told that the movie will have another popular actress essaying a pivotal role. Now we get information that Ann Augustine is playing this part.

After her marriage to popular Malayalam cinematographer Jomon T John, the talented actress stayed away from movies before doing director Lal Jose’s Neena.

Ann Augustine will be playing actor Anson Paul’s pair in the movie. Anson is a noted actor for his performances in movies like Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam, Oozham and more recently in Sivakarthikeyan’s Tamil movie Remo.

Director Bejoy Nambiar had said that the movie will be an experimental one, a first of its kind in Malayalam cinema. Shoot will happen in two to three different schedule at various locations in Kochi, Mumbai and Ladakh.

Bejoy Nambiar’s home banner Getaway Films and Abaam Movies is jointly producing this movie.

Solo is expected to hit the theatres only by mid 2017.
