Anna Ben rates Unda as her most favorite film of 2019

The year 2019 saw the arrival of many new talents in Malayalam cinema. One of the most brightest among them was Anna Ben, the pretty actress who grabbed attention with her performances in ‘Kumbalangi Nights’ and ‘Helen’. Apart from her own films, Anna rates ‘Unda’ as her most favorite film from last year. She revealed this in a recent interview with a magazine. She also mentioned about films like ‘Virus, ‘Thamaasha’, ‘Uyare’ and ‘Vikrithi’.

‘Unda’ directed by Khalid Rahman and scripted by Harshad had Mammootty in the lead. The film which was inspired from real incidents told the story of a battalion of policemen from Kerala who get posted in Chhattisgarh on election duty. Unlike a regular commercial entertainer, it is a politically layered film that touches upon multiple issues which appeals to a wider audience. The film was well received by both the critics as well as the commoners.
