Anoop Menon coming as Jose K Mani in the film Sarvopari Palakkaran

Mollywood had seen many characters from Kottayam district. Most popular among them are Kottayam Kunjachan by Mammootty, Aadu Thoma by Mohanlal and Anakkattil Chackochi by Suresh Gopi. Now, Anoop Menon is also coming up with a character based on Kottayam in his next film named Sarvopari Palakkaran, which will be directed by Venugopan, who is a debutant.

Usually the ‘Achayan’ characters based on Kottayam district are presented before us with full of heroism and most of them are firebrand characters as well. But this character from Anoop Menon will be one with comedy flavor. Anoop Menon playing a character named Jose K Mani who is a Special Branch Circle Inspector.

But it has nothing to do with the original Jose K Mani, Son of Ex-Minister K M Mani. They had just taken the popular name of him to make the character familier. The film will be a family-comedy entertainer and will start rolling from the coming August. The interesting thing about the film is that the name of KM Mani is also coming in this flick as the character name of Alencier Ley, who will be playing the father character of Anoop Menon’s character Jose K Mani.

Mia George and Honey rose playing the female leads in this movie and Honey Rose is playing a character who is an active member of Kiss of Love campaign. Pala will be the main location of this film.
