Anoop Menon-Priya Varrier starrer Oru Nalpathukarante Irupathiyonnkaari planned as an OTT release

The Covid-19 pandemic has proven to be a major booster for OTTs in India. As theatres across the country have been shut for over four months now, the general public is showing more interest towards OTT platforms. In Malayalam, ‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’ became the first mainstream film to be released directly in Amazon Prime. VK Prakash’s upcoming film ‘Oru Nalpathukarante Irupathiyonnkaari’ is also being planned as an OTT release.

The film stars Anoop Menon and ‘Oru Adaar Love’ fame Priya Prakash Varrier in the lead roles. Anoop Menon is scripting the film. This is the third time he is penning a film for VK Prakash after the successful ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Trivandrum Lodge’. The duo is also producing it along with production controller Dixon Poduthas.

‘Oru Nalpathukarante Irupathiyonnkaari’ has Priya playing a character named Zara and Anoop Menon’s role ia named as Thampi. Nandu and ‘Pathinettam Padi’ fame Ambi Ninasam will also be seen in crucial roles in the film. Details regarding the other cast and crew members are awaited.
