Actor/writer Anoop Menon who is currently working with Mohanlal in Padmakumar directorial and Suresh Babu scripted film Kanal has announced his next project through his Facebook profile yesterday posting its first look poster as well. In his post Anoop Menon said that the script of the film was very captivating in the first hearing itself and the film will be directing by three youngsters who are professionally engineers. It may be the first time in India that a film is directed by a trio. Their name is Vishak, Vivek and Vinod. This trio had done the script work of this film as well. Anoop Menon requested everyone’s support for this trio to make their dream come true and prayers for them to achieve success in this venture.

The First look poster is very unique and interesting and on the right go it had given us much expectation and hope about the flick. Bhama will play the female lead in this film opposite Anoop Menon. The names of other actors in this flick is not yet revealed. The DOP of this upcoming flick will be popular cinematographer Anil Nair and music department will be managed by Dr. Praveen. The Editor of the flick will be Shaijal P V. Maalgudi Days will be produced by V Company.

There is a famous piece of literary work with the same title written by R K Narayan and the title of this films gives most of the audience a doubt that whether this film will have something to do with that literary work. As of now there is no reports that there is anything this film had to do with that great piece of literary work by the great Indian writer R K Narayan. Still that title really gives a fond memory of the characters and backdrop of the literary work.

Anoop Menon has a lot of films to come up this year and the major one is of course Kanal in which he sharing screen along with the complete actor of Indian cinema Mr. Mohanlal after B Unnikrishnan directorial 2012 film named Grandmaster. Anoop also doing a key role in Abrid Shine directorial Nivin Pauly film named Action Hero Biju as well.
