The grand success of  Nivin Pauly’s Oru Vadakkan Selfie and Mohanlal film Ennum Eppozhum  had really gave mollywood the required amount of energy to cruise. Now there is some films which is filming and ready for release in the coming months which promises a lot for Mollywood this year.

Laila O Laila

It the film which has been eagerly awaited by the fans and film lovers alike as it offers a special combination with a surprise inclusion in the writing section. And the special combination is the pair of Mohanlal and Joshiey who always delivered great success in Mollywood and the Surprise inclusion is the script writer of this film which is Suresh Nair who is one of the most valuable and popular script writers of Bollywood. Mohanlal film always creates great anticipation and this time also there is no difference. The news says that the film will hit the screens in the first week of May.

Double Barrel

It has been eagerly anticipated from last itself and the reason for that anticipation can be guessed. It is the Director who gave hit like Amen, Lijo Jose Pellissery and the presence of stars like Prithviraj, Indrajith, Arya, Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne etc. The film expected to hit the screens in May.

Premam

It is much awaited because of the coming together of that team which gave us the film Neram. It was Alphons putheran and Nivin pauly again after the success of “Neram” and people have great hopes on them to deliver a hit film like their first association.

Ivide

It something really to watch out for as it can be said as a Hollywood type thriller film from mollywood which will be conceived by one of the best in mollywood , Shyama Prasad. The star cast is also very interesting with the presence of Prithviraj, Bhavana, Nivin Pauy in the lead roles.

Loham

Loham is the film which will be the return of Master director renjith to the commercial scheme of things. As per the news it will be a class thriller based on gold smuggling starring none other than Mohanlal, the most valuable star in Mollwood. Loham is expected as a July release.

Life Of Josootty

This one is much awaited for a reason and that is for the director of the film and it is a Jeethu film who gave the biggest ever hit in mollywood named Drishyam last year and Life Of Josootty will be his next outing after Drishyam with Dileep in the lead.
