Anurag Kashyap mind-blown by Super Deluxe

National award winning filmmaker Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s ‘Super Deluxe’ is eagerly awaited by serious cinephiles across the country. The director is making a comeback eight years after he made his debut with the cult-hit ‘Aaranya Kaandam’. His new movie that has an ensemble of proficient actors like Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, Mysskin, Samantha and Ramya Krishnan is getting ready to hit screens by the end of this month.

Recently, a special screening of the movie was arranged for selected invitees. Bollywood’s maverick filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was one of them. Highly impressed by the film, Kashyap took to his social media handle to tweet,

“Saw Kumar Raja’s Super Deluxe” – mind blown … so much to celebrate..

It is worth a mention that director Thiagarajan Kumararaja had initially approached Kashyap to write a segment in the film, but it could not materialize. Repenting on missing out the opportunity, the latter has tweeted,

After having seen the film , my regret to not be part of “Super Deluxe” has grown multi-folds.. KumarRaja is an unabashed , fearless filmmaker with so many tricks up his sleeves. I am not at liberty to say things but you just don’t see it coming..

Earlier, while sharing the trailer, Kashyap had written,

Expectations are massive for ‘Super Deluxe’ since it has some of the finest talents of South Indian cinema working in it.The movie’s screenplay is jointly penned by Mysskin, Nalan Kumarasamy, Neelan K Sekar and Thiagarajan Kumararaja. PS Vinod and Nirav Shah have cranked the camera. Music department is handled by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
